Coping with children and what size to go for Started by: Kelly Moulder

Hi, I’m booked for surgery on 20th April and I have 2 young children to look after (age 2 and 4). My partner will have the following day off work and then my mum can help for 2 days but after that I’m pretty much on my own until my partner comes home from work. Any advice/hints/tips on how to get by on your own? How did everyone find the pain?

Also, I’m 5 feet 10, 55kgs, size 8 and currently a 34b so I’m very slim. I’ve been offered 325/350 dual plane, high profile. I’d like to hear from anyone who has similar stats to me, what size did you go for? Also if anyone would like to share photos that would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

    Hi
Im now 4 weeks post op, I’m 5’4 similar size and went for 350cc behind the muscle. I love them!! I also have a two year old and I had her looked after for the first 5 days, after that I just didn’t carry/pick her up, held her hand up and down the stairs rather than carrying and I told her mammys boobies and belly was sore and she was very careful, I wouldn’t worry to much, the first 3 days were the days I’m grateful for childcare as I know I couldn’t have looked after her as I stayed in bed pretty much them days but after 5 days I felt back to normal doing things just taking it easy, so yeah I just advise no carrying, wait till your partner is home for bath times and get lots of quick food in that’s easy to cook for you. Good luck x
