Hi Guy’s im a newbie… Ive found you all extremely helpful in the run up to my op but im scared it’s done me more harm than god – Im soooo confused!!
Lets start with the basics… Im 5ft 7in & currently in a 34B & aiming to be a DD i had the choice between high profile 435cc’s or low profile (i think) 480cc’s, i was told the 1st option would make me a D/DD or the 2nd option a DD/E… The thought of becoming an E cup initially freaked me out so i opted for 435cc’s but as my date is getting closer i am starting to worry… I have heard if you have unders (as i am) you lose 15% of your size?? Also i have read so many stories about people wishing they had gone bigger – As yet i think ive seen only one post that goes the other way for wishing they were smaller…. I know size can’t be guaranteed but i dont think i would be happy with just a D cup & is the difference between the 2 implant sizes too little for me to be getting into a tiz?!
My BA is with Mr.Kazzazi @ Doncaster by the way….
Hi hun
I had my BA on Friday so I know exactly what you mean, it’s great to read all the experiences on here but at the same time it’s very confusing and you start doubting the choice you have made about the size!!! I was a 32a/b and I’ve had high profile 380cc partial unders, I’m hoping to be a small D once all of the swelling has gone down!! So I really doubt you’ll just be a D. If you’re really not sure I think the best thing will be for you to speak to your patient co-ordinator or surgeon to discuss your concerns and to see if you can make the final decision on the day. When I had my consultation with Mr Singh and I explained that I wanted to look natural and to be a small D, he only suggested 380cc so I didn’t have the problem of deciding between 2 sizes, although after reading other stories the week before my op, I did wonder if I should request a larger implant just in case…but I’m happy with my decision to stick with Mr Singh’s recommendation.
Is the low profile implant in a tear drop shape?

Thanks Fiona,
Both implant sizes we round… I didnt opt for the tear drop’s as i am really empty at the top & wanted some fullness there,(although i dont want the ‘thrown’ on look!) i thought with the tear drop i would just be the same as i am now but bigger if that makes sense? It’s a mind field isnt it!!
Im just concious of making the right decision… I would hate to of parted with so much money to not be happy!
I have emailed my co-ordinator with my issues, hopefully she’ll get back to me shortly… I wonder how many times she’ll of heard it before!! ha

Hi Kerry
I was exactly the same as you, no fullness at the top at all and like you didn’t want that stuck on look. Know what you mean about the tear drop shape, initially I thought that’s what I’d go for and then realised I wouldn’t achieve a fuller bust.
I agree that it is a lot of money to part with. Guess you need to think what would you be most disappointed with, smaller than expected or bigger than expected? The thought of having bigger boobs after having a B cup is quite scary but I think you’d soon get used to DD/E!
Hope your co-ordinator gets back to you soon.
Wishing you lots of luck for Friday – let us know how you get on.
Fiona xx
Oh my god!!!
Talk about getting in a tiz!! I am driving everyone (including myself) insane!! As yet my co-ordinator hasnt got back to me but as im expecting a call tomorrow with my admission time i’ll speak to someone then…
My friends are advising me to go for the larger of the 2 & my other half (suprise suprise!) thinks so too… I am so undecisive it’s untrue!! Maybe i’ll just leave it down to my surgeon – Afterall he’ll know best!
I’ll keep you posted!!
xx
I’ve at last received my admission time… 11.30am!! Wahoo!!
Ive spoke to my co-ordinator i ive ordered the bigger size…DD-E’s here i come!!
Hi Kerry
I’m pleased you’ve made your decision, you’ll be pleased with the result. Will be thinking of you on Friday.
