Hi everyone!!
Im really nervous iv booked a consultation for this evening in manchester to see about having laser lipo on my inner and outer thighs. Im a size 10 and have a figure im really happy about but my legs have been something that has always bothered me and due to this I wont wear shorts in summer
Going away to Cuba in August for a family wedding and really want to feel good for once!! A friend has mentioned laser lipo to me and iv done some research but it seems to be that what iv read the Vaser lipo is a better option??? Has anyone had either of these procedures? Iv never had any cosmetic surgery before so I dont really know what to expect. The other thing that concerns me is my initial consultation isnt with a surgeon so im wondering how it is that someone who isnt qualified to operate on me can tell me about the liposuctioin and what I need??
Please can some help me!!???

The person who will take you through the consultation is a patient coordinator who will tell you exactly what the procedure is about and how it works and recovery etc – if you are happy with what you are told you are then referred to a surgeon – but I think laser lipo you just get booked in!
What I am aware of it is that you will be injected with local anesthetic and they use the minute tools (tubes, laser) and remove the fat and I think your body tightens in that area too!

Hi
II am having full body vaser lipo on 19th June. I am having my arms, flanks, tummy, inner, outer thigh plus some little bits like base of back and under my bumetc. What swung it for me is the recovery and the fact it can be sculpted more. Instead of just taking the fat away, the muscles are left more defined etc so this is perfect for arms and tummy etc. Also my surgeon looks amazing so I am very happy to be in his capable hands.I shall post some before and after pics as soon as its done.
I personally prefer the vaser option, which uses sound waves to break up the fat molecules instead of light or heat. To me it seems less traumatic, although removing fat from the body will be traumatic to a certain extent anyway. Does the surgeon you are booked in with offer vaser, should you wish to change your mind? I am having a general anaesthetic as I’m having a lot done, but I understand with one-two areas it will be under local only.
You still should get to see the surgeon before the op. the PC explains the procedure, discusses costs etc, but you should still see the surgeon so he can assess the area. I would take photos of what you want to look like so the surgeon can tell you early on whether the look you are after is achievable or not. Your idea of what you want and what can be done can be different so visuals can be helpful to make sure you and your surgeon are on the same page.
Good luck with everything and I’ll post my pics ASAP.

Wow wish I could have had this much done at one time
Vaser seems much more effective than laser
