Im booked in for my BA on Aug 4th and have a holiday booked for the Caribbean on Oct 3rd!
I know you need to keep your scars well covered for 12 months so I plan to wear plasters over them whilst sunbathing.
However its a long haul flight and im slightly worried. I think id start to panic on board if they started swelling or hurting :S

    Hi,

    I would of thought you’d be fine…

When i go away i will be 5/6 weeks post op it’s only a short haul flight though.. My co-ordinator advised me not to fly long haul for 8 weeks post op,

If you have any concerns speak to your surgeon he/she will know best
