0phya girls is this true that things have changed at mya and u dnt get ur transport to hospital and back in with the price i was told by my pc when i had consultation that i could either make my own way there and back n stay in hotel or stay in the hospital and get taken there n brought bk x

0pI would also like to knw this too!! my PC also said that she would not be able to knock any mre money off for the recommend a friend… so maybe dont recommend if this isnt going to be honered!!xz

0pTransport to and from hospital was never mentioned to me. Also a friend of mine was given money off for paying the balance in one go (after initial deposit) I also paid this way and this was never mentioned to me either! I think she had like £150-£250 off. I have received great service from Mya but was little upset that someone who I recommended to MYA was given discounts that were never mentioned to me. Can you tell me why this is mod? Xx

0pWow thinktink, really?! I also paid in full at once well before ba and nothing was ever mentioned to me?! I just had continous phone calls from mya call centre as soon as i booked my ba chasing full payment even though i told my pc the day i will pay her and will pay her, well ended up paying the call centre as they phoned me that bloody much it was doing my head in lol.

0pYea I thought it was strange but she def got money off & as I was the one that recommended Mya to her I think it’s slightly unfair, and I’ve never heard about my money for referring her. I ended up paying them too cus they called me on my payment date xx

0pif this is true about transport ect i may have to go else where which i dnt really wana do bt i think for that amount of money which is alot when u have a family u should get transport like i was told it would be lil cheaper making my own way ect but i thought when i do book i may aswell pay a lil extra and get it in with price x

0pI didnt get any extra money off, only late space, not even cheaper just for the day case and no money off for recommend a friend discount, even though i asked about all of them! Was not happy, booked to see a surgeon with mya n 2nd july, but am seeing another surgeon with another company who are offering it cheaper than mya`s discounted rate! xz

0pThat’s the one and only gripe I have with MYA, I too paid in full and got no money off, I also paid in full days after my initial appointment with my pc for a late space which supposedly you pay less for but that isn’t true either, I have spoken to girls on here who have paid in instalments, and without a late space who still paid a lot less than I, there is a bit of a grey area when it comes to pricing it may seem xx

0pYea I don’t think their pricing is very consistent. I honestly haven’t had a single problem with Mya & don’t like to moan cus I’d recommend Mya to anyone! Feel awful for posting something negative xx

0pI no i posted earlier about my pc not calling me after surgery when promised and i have never posted anything negative on here and like u have recommended mya and dr adamo to a few people. But it seems their pricing system needs to be reviewed so that their patients get equal treatment and prices and then there would be no negative posts about it x

0pI didn’t even know there was any option for getting taken to and from the hospital!
my op was in fitzroy square hospital and if yours is there too i recommend that you ask mya for some kind of advice with transport, because my journey there was an absolute nightmare, i was in tears before i even got to the hospital!
its in the very middle of london, obviously public transport isn’t appropriate, so i had my friend drive me there.
even leaving two hours ahead of schedule we were over an hour late.
i knew that there wasn’t any parking at the hospital, but i was assured there was free parking nearby, but when i went to that car park (which had about 20 spaces) they had all been reserved for other companies and were full.
we ended up parking about half a mile away because that was the nearest one. then after the op i was obviously in no state to walk that far, so had to get qa taxi which was yet another expense!
add that to the £30 parking, the congestion charge (which i didn’t even know about until i got a letter through my door, by which time it was £60) and petrol and so on thats over £100 in transport and a huge amount of stress. absolute nightmare!
if you’re at this hospital deffo ask if some kind of arrangement can be made.

0pI paid in full within less than a week of my consultation. I had a late space as my surgery was only 2 weeks after my first consultation. I had to travel to Doncaster from Leicester and back by car and I got no travel expenses for that nor for my husbands hotel cost. I paid the full price £4250 with no discounts at all. Mya mod could you look into this for me too please. I feel the pricing system is very unfair.
