Off topic benign brain Tumor Started by: mrsdminor21

    Hello ladies, I had an MRI a few weeks ago and they found tow small lumps in my brain a 3mm one on my piturity glad and they said they are 90% benign, well I have had my BA booked since October and it my BA is In 6 weeks, will I be safe to go ahead with my BA as don’t want to mention it to my surgeon and him cancel my op, anyone else had something similar? X

    In order to ensure your safety it is essential that you disclose your full medical history to your surgeon.I understand that you are looking forward to your BA but your health and well-being must come first.     Yes hunni, though I am gutted for you to read that and u truly hope your ok and it doesn’t affect your ba health always 100% comes first. Look at it in another way as, it is brilliant and a wonderful experience to finally have the body you have dreamed of, but you want to be able to enjoy it after else the whole process will have an anti climax for you. Im sure anaesthetic does not effect something like that, however be safe lovely :) xxx

    depends on the surgeon. i have a lump in my breast. one surgeon was happy to go ahead with a BA and the other has insited on written confirmation of biopsy results. ive chosen to go with the surgeon who has insisted on a biopsy. for your safety and so the surgeon is fully informed on what he is dealing with, you must disclose this information. good luck, hope it all goes ahead as planned xx
