Ive had a breast uplift and implants and breastfed 2 children. One thing I would say that with both uplift and reductions its a very similar procedure in as much as they remove the nipple, although in an uplift it remains still connected by nerves not entirely sure with a reduction if they remove it completely but nevertheless I have breast fed, but with both only for 6 weeks as I found that both babies were still hungry. The one thing with breast feeding as a whole is that you cant tell what milk they are getting (unless you express, which I did and it wasnt plentifull), maybe it slightly affected the amount of milk that came through or that could be a coincidence,i’ll never know. I have friends with implants who have breastfed with no problems. Best advice I could give you is is that if you are going to go through all the hassle and cost of having a reduction is to wait until you have had children (I dont know how old you are) but you can appreciate your new breasts as dont forget they will drop again once you have had children and breast fed….. If you are really desperate to get them done (as I was) the other alternative is not to breastfeed but thats a personal decision for you. I had mine done 5 years ago and am getting them redone now, mainly down to having had children and breast fed as they are sagging again. As for the scars, I can barely see them now other than a silvery white hair line thick scar, 5 years on,plus with a bit of trusted fake tan its invisible. Hope this helps
