    Only a week to go till i see the surgeon, am hoping to be booked in for the 23rd sep!! cant beleive it still…Am counting the days.

    Can any of you tell me what or how you try the sizes etc on when i see him next week? Do they put the implant things in your bra to get an idea of sizes etc? Am nervous about it really, but really excited at same time…

    Its been so great reading everyones stories on here, before and after, really puts my mind at ease…xx

    I had my consultation with my surgeon on Thursday and I was a nervous wreck! haha

    When I first went in, he was just asking me why I wanted a BA etc and then asked me to go into the next room to get undressed. He then took some measurements and asked me what size I would prefer to be. I didn’t take my own bra so he gave me one and then popped some implants in it until I decided which ones I was happpy with. After that I got dressed again, he went through the risks etc asked if I still wanted to go through with my BA and then that was it :) signed and left.

    Make sure you take a tight top (not black) to wear to see your surgeon though. It makes it easier to judge which implants look better on you. I’m all booked in for the 25th Aug! xx

    Oh brill, yes my pc told me about taking a tight top aswell, i will do…sounds quite exciting, i’m nervous but excited aswell…xx

    Hi Lolly89/ Sara

    I had my consultation back in July, and im booked in for 2nd sept. My pre op is tomorrow i cant wait!!! At my consultation with the surgeon lolly89 i never went into a different room to get undressed or anything, nor did he give me a bra to try on, who did you have?
    I tried the implants in under my own bra, which was padded so didnt really give me a true idea to be honest. But he was very friendly etc…. x x

    That sounds like a really good consultation Lolly, at mine I was literally in there for 1 minutes if that. He asked what I wanted, told me to take my top off, gave me 2 implants that he recommended, told them to hold them up against my boobs which gave me no idea at all then told me to get dressed again. Hence me requesting a consultation with another surgeon. I know very good things about him but I just wanted to see if I got a better feel with someone else.

    Who did you both see? Im seeing Mr Adamo, he souns really good, am hoping so…I dont own a bra that isnt padded! haha so anythin i try will have to be under a padded bra, hope i’ll still be able to get a good idea of sizes etc? xx

    Hi Sara

    when i had my consultation with Mr Adamo at the beginning of July, i just wore my least padded bra and tried the implants inside it, then put my top back on. Just gives you a rough idea of size :) Guess you could take a sports bra with you – that has no padding, and you’ll probably need to buy one anyway! Worth a thought? (By the way, Mr Adamo did say that i wouldn’t have to wear a sports bra unless i felt more comfortable, but i have got 3 in different sizes, just in case)

    I have my op with him on Wednesday!!!!! :) xx

    Thanks Jacqui, ive read alot that mr adamo says you dont have to wear a sports bra but so many peopl say you should for support, think i will give it a go just incase, nothing to loose i guess…I’ll have to search through my bras for thursday then! haha xx

    Does he mean that instead of a sports bra you wear no bra at all?

    Sara, I saw Mr Chantarasak originally, who has a fantastic reputation but I’m seeing Mr Adamo also end of this month so I’m looking forward to seeing if he recommends the same thing x

    yeah i think so rio…but i’ll see wat he says…think its always worth wearin one but if i dont have to i wont…yes it will be interesting to see what a different surgeon would say…mr adamo sounds great aswell xx

    Mine is 25th August day case, I think its Lolly89 that is booked on same day as me. Bet you can’t wait for it to come round!!

    As far as I know I’m an overnighter. Thats what my PC said and my confirmation letter :) Can’t believe it’s in a week :D xx

    Arr i bet your excited, nervous aswell i bet? i know i will be…looks like my loans fallen thru, had problems with our loan company, not sure wats happenin yet but not happy at all, meant to be seeing surgeon tomorro and puttin deposit down, bloody typical! x
