Finally had my BA 2days ago on 17/10 at highgate hospital. I was a 32a and had 340 overs with dr.adamo. My admission time was 7.30am and I was in theatre by 9.15am, I was first on his list thankfully so didn’t have to sit round waiting too long. Woke up in the recovery room & felt tired but no pain at all, and I was wheeled back into my room at 10.30. I was told to have a sleep for half hour and then they would bring my some toast, and then I had a main meal at about 1.45pm. I felt brilliant all day & was allowed to leave at 4pm! I was we’ll chuffed I could leave so early, the bed was comfy etc but nothing beats being in your own bed 🙂 my surgeon told me I didn’t have to wear a sports bra if I didn’t want to, so I didn’t wear one the first night as I felt quite comfortable anyway.
Woke up next morning & wasn’t in any pain, but I was more sore & uncomfortable, so with some help I managed to get dressed and I put on my sports bra for a bit of support. I got a 2pack from M&S and their very comfy. My PC called the day after my surgery to speak 2 me and make sure I was ok, which I felt was really nice. She advised me 2 wear my sports bra as much as I can, which is different to what my surgeon said, but I’m just taking it day 2 day and seeing what’s more comfortable.
Today I feel less sore already but still feel fragile & just taking it easy. I can’t wait to see what the end result will be, but so far I’m very happy 🙂 the whole experience is much easier then I ever imagined & I would do it all over again. The staff at the hospital are amazing and I couldn’t praise them enough 🙂
So happy 2 have boobs 🙂 xxx
