So I am a 34c having 400cc overs to be a dd my surgeon has told me to get a 34dd bra for after and I’m planning to get one macom and then some m&s too.
I can’t find any options for the cup size on the macom site?
Did you get a bigger back size for swelling?

I was told to go up a back size because of swelling… Might be best getting the macom in the 34 for when the swelling dies down a little and get an m&s slightly bigger as the macom wil be more pricey and then will hopefully last the 6 weeks of sports bras! Up to you though! I got told at my pre op check so f you have worries check with them then 🙂 my nurse said not to get macom so ive had various others!! x

Macom come is sizes not band width, a 34 would be a medium (covering larger 32-large 36) and the cups expand so no worries there
With sports bars get a band width more then normal, so a 36, but deffo more then a dd an e would be more fitting I think for swelling, afterwards you can always get fitted fully for one, just like a normal bra, so you feel supported enough xx

I was nothing but pleased with my macom bra- my surgeon recommended it. all you need is your underbust measurement for macom b/c the cups are expandable. the customer service is great so if one size doesn’t work they are happy to exchange/return! try it out!:)

Why would our surgeons advise normal cheap sports bras if they didn’t do the job? Mine give me just the right amount of support and didn’t cost me an arm and a leg! X

Avoid normal sports bras!!! Who are you? All our surgeons have recommended NORMAL sports bras. Your the only person praising these macom bras and to be honest I don’t think anyone Is listening

I’m having mr kazzazi, I’ve not asked him which post op bra to buy yet but I’ve heard he’s against macom, surely a surgeon with a cv as impressive as mr kazzazi’s wouldn’t recommend a normal sports bra if that wasn’t suitable

Lisa do you work for macom? Everything you have commented is on is about macom, but yet on your profile it doesn’t say you are post op it says you are researching?

Im wearing a macom bra and so far found it fab (although tight with swelling as i didnt get the size up) BUT i did also get a cheapie sports bra from asda for when macom is in the wash. Both PC and surgeon recommended and pc was wearing hers when i went for consultation. Its down to personal preference, dont think there is a right or wrong answer for which is best. Just follow surgeons advive 😀 x

My surgeon gave me 2 macoms and they have been brilliant. So comfy, easy to sleep in. I am a 30 back and had a size small. I had an uplift and polyurethane implants too which take longer to soften so I have to wear the macom for 12 weeks in total!! I’m at week 9 now so not long to go! Go with the advice of your surgeon, they advise what they think works best with their surgical technique and they are all different. If you go against that advice you may find you compromise your aftercaere. My implants (polyureathane) dont drop like normal implants and adhere to the pocket so my post op needs are different to most people on here and for me the Macom was perfect!

My surgeon and consultant was both against macom bras. I was told to go primark or m and s xx
