Hi girls got my pre op appt on 3dec just wondering what they do? And how long x

Hi hun the nurse tells u bout the op n things nd yhey take a blood test nd swabs for mrsa. They also take a pic if u want. Then just ask u if u have questions. Think I was in thete for bout 30_ 40 mins.. Hope this helps xxx

Okay brilliant that’s not long which is good. Where do they swab you? Up your nose? This has helped a lot thank you x

Hiya I had mine today 🙂 yeah the nurse takes u step by step through everything, explains what u can, can’t and shouldn’t do before and after your op, I didn’t have a blood test but I had the Mrsa swabs and photos taken, also had my blood pressure taken xx

I had swab in nose nd underarm hun. U will also get like a folder off they with a yellow card with emergency phone number on too anything else u need to know id love too hrlp as I found the girls very good on here before mu op so wud like to help otha girls 😉
