about 12 yrs ago my mother offered to pay for me to have a breast reduction . I was delighted and consulted a surgeon at the local private hospital. My breasts have always been huge and i was relieved to be rid of them and the discomfort they caused. The op was fine , I have no complaints about the care I received at the hospital, but i have regrets that i didn’t do my homework properly about my surgeons ability in cosmetic surgery. I am still very pleased to have smaller breasts but i have been left with ugly scaring, particularly on one breast and no nipples. The blood supply apparently was not sufficient to them post op for them to survive. they gradually ,over 3 weeks went black and fell off!
I now work at a private hospital ( not where i had my surgery) and have cared for breast reduction patients and realise my post op checks were not carried out well enough, if they had been i would now have nipples. Also had i chosen a surgeon who was more of a breast specialist I would have much less scarring. I was satisfied with my op until i saw the results of the reductions carried out at my hospital, now i wish my breasts looked prettier, but at least they are smaller than they were

Oh my god, you poor thing. So due to low blood supply it has caused your nipples to fall off? or have i read that really wrong? I never knew this was possible? Surely you are able to sue the hospital? surely there has to be something they can do to correct it. Thats terrible.
Its strange to hear someone wanting to get rid of big boobs, because most of us on here are paying to have big boobs. lol.

    Take care
