The spanx type thingys from primark are the best, think they are £6!
The actual compression garment that the hospital gave me, I couldnt get on Mr Traynor said to not wear that one and go and buy the support pants etc, the primark ones come right up to your bust and right down to your knees x

Really?! I had understood that getting medical grade compression garments, such as the macom garments recommended by MYA are essential to ensure the best healing results. Surely spending so much on surgery, it’s worth splurging rather than settling for the primark spanx!? Anyway, I guess I will talk to my patient advisor

I spent more money on an actual medical garment, and it was so worth it! Swelling went down, healing went smoothly, the garments were comfortable under my clothing and NOT itchy! Nicca- if you still are in the healing process I vote you buy yourself a nice garment! 🙂 macom garments is what I used, MYA reccomended

Just been to see mr T again today. If u have a lot of work done like I did Mya actually buy u one and its an expensive one. Mr traynor said not to wear it as it was actually putting too much pressure on my scars. That he wasn’t using them any more and that they were a rip off in that the high street garments did exactly the same. I’m living proof, just had a 4 week check and mr t said I was the fastest healing patient ever. He doesn’t even need to give me a 12 week check and I don’t need to go back for 3 months just to get signed off.
I had a BA, tummy tuck and lipo. Like I say only 4 weeks PO and just shows you don’t always get what u pay for! X
