Just got out of bed to go loo and noticed there is quite bit of blood on my plasters covering my nipples what should I do? Xx

It’s not leaking or anything but it’s under the plaster on one side quite a lot x

I would ring them Hun, if u can get hold of a fresh dressing change it if u can’t get hold of them, I wouldn’t think the blood in its self would be major but the wetness can cause infection so dec get hold of someone, it could well just be fluid not actual blood making its way out but def get hold of them x

I’m going the hospital now to get dressings changed I just keep thinking the worst hope I haven’t split a stitch or something xxx

Just got out hospital everything’s ok got dressings changed and nurse said no infection and stitching looks fine.I couldn’t be happier! They are exactly how I imagined them to be really round and full 😉 xx
