Hi rachel,
Enjoy your dinner at Jamie Olivers.
You have to take antibiotics for 5 days post op, they also give you a large dose when your having the op, its to fight any infection. i would stock up on some thrush medication just incase!
Make sure you take the camera to the hospital

Havent read that pack yet&didnt no bout stop drinking??I have stopped smoking for the last 2weeks finding it sooo hard as i love my wine&fags on an evening wen 2 youngest in bed!!Got my op on 19th sept&like loads of you are scared&exited to!Dont fancy the recovery bit tho got 3 kids&got ocd’s with housework!xxx

Hi Rachel, lol i know it should be good fun, and if people buy loads i get loads of free stuff to put my new boobies in. ha ha.
omg your op is tomorrow, how exciting!!!! i bet you cant wait. ive got 8 days to go and counting. Ive got Mr Adamo at Highgate to. So yes if you are feeling up to it before next wed try and tell us your story and how fantastic they are. lol. In the mean time you drink and tell me if your ok after, and if you are i will carry on regardless. lol x x xx

Hi Lucyloo,
How flipping exciting is your party……you will no doubt be modelling all the underwear!!
I had my last drink sun eve, just the one (plus accompanying fag, just the one) and am sworn off until as long as possible afterwards. I am with you for the eve tipple, except mine are annoying teenagers who don’t go to bed…..grrrr, makes me drink even more!!
Good luck for yours next week & I will try & get on here later in the week to hopefully exclaim how wonderful they are..

Hi Rachel

Just reading all the posts how funny. I have mine done 1 week on wed. So ive got to make sure all the booze has gone out of the fridge! lol. I do have a glass of wine every night once my kiddies are in bed. And that’s like my reprieve, after a stressful day of two under two’s!!!!! i dont know how i will cope.
So im going to have a few tonight and tomorrow and then thats it for me, im just doing a week before as whats the harm. Not long for you now. i bet your sooooooo excited.
Ive been looking on the Ann summers website, and they’ve got a gorgeous basque that i will most def be purchasing when mine are done! i am also having an Ann summers party in sept!x x

I am really not, just wanting a g & t plus just the one fag!!!!!
As if its not stressful enough trying not to drink or smoke is really doing my head in!!
If I do anymore ‘chores’ today I may explode……..anyone else struggling??
I am hoping that by outing my stress on this forum it might help???
I am booked in for this wed with Mr Adamo for 340 hp overs and after wearing my (36b) bikini & not nearly filling it cannot wait…..

Thank you ladies,
I knew I would get support (ha ha) here……I did have just the one of each and will now abstain.
Am going to lovely Jamie Olivers (Italian) restaurant tonight as way of a treat!
Does everyone have to take the antibiotics??? Is it just to be on the safe side, did any of your ask about them??
Good luck you ladies who are immenent like me, will look forward to reading your stories, I have even bought a new camera (hope it comes in time) to dcoument my journey as not sure my 19yr old is happy that I use his!!!

Hi Rachel,

I was told no alcohol 48 hours before op, so this time last Sunday i was just having my last glass of wine, so you’ll be fine to have some tonight

After your op you are not allowed any alcohol while you are on the antibiotics (i have 3 left to take) so i will be able to have some on Tuesday night

Might wait untill Friday tho, as i am at a wedding then xx

Hi Rachel, I’m booked in with Mr Adamo 21st Oct, seeing him this friday. Have already been recommended 350cc low profile overs. Currently empty c/d after breastfeeding.
Will keep an eye out for nice halternecks for you x

good luck for your op, not long now!! mines in 5 days and i went out sat nite and had few drinnks, and cigs, as i got told by nurse to stop 48 hours before op,x

Two weeks but thats too hard……have nightmare of teenage son, thats my excuse.
Its not that I indulge much at all, usually 2 of an eve which shouldn’t be hard but is proving so.
Gave up with each pregnancy & for quite a while after but this is different.
If I eat junk food my belly get bigger so might have to indulge in internet shopping……any recommendations for booby clothes? I am am looking for a black halterneck dress…..seen any?

Lol Sonia, was just gonna say the same! Make yourself a list of all the lingerie and bikini’s you can buy once you know your size! How long do you have to be alcohol free before op Rachel?
