    I had my 1 week PO appt yesterday and the nurse sad I can now have a shower, just don’t let the soap suds/shampoo etc go on the incisions too much, she did say I can’t have a bath, except a shallow bath which is what I’ve been having until 6 week check. As for sleeping laying down she didn’t mention it, but I only slept upright for the first 2 nights, since then I’ve been only slightly propped up, and I’ve had a lot better nights sleep xx

    I’ve been waking up every morning practically flat other than my shoulders, so probably just when it feels more comfortable to lie flat. x

    you can sleep when you feel ok to lying down, my third night I was flat on my back and curled on my side too, first time round I couldn’t do that for nearly three weeks,
    showering is after the nurse has seen you at your weeks post op app, proper baths are six weeks xx

    I had my strapping off yesterday and 7 days post op today, nurse said i can shower on monday…new years eve treat 😉
    and that i can sleep on my back if i feel i can from now on xx

    Hi girls, I was naughty I think, I ad a shower day three but held the head of the shower away, so I could shower below the waist , I hate not havin a shower so been doing that. I’m day 11 and I’ve ad a full shower and even washed hair. I saw the nurse Xmas eve and didn’t say I couldn’t. I placed big plasters over my incisions though just incase.

    I had a cheeky shower yesterday, I kept my sports bra on and put face cloths in it over my dressings and kept the water off them as much as possible, it was akward but bliss lol
