I’ve not had him yet but I’ve spent the last year researching surgeons. I’ve only found two others in the uk that are highly rated, but loads more expensive, they are wanting around 7-10k. So if you want to stick with MYA Dr G is definitely the one to go for as he is rated. I’ve been quoted 6050 for open rhino with graft and apparently that is the quote for a septo open rhino as well because of the length of time it takes. I got 300 quid knocked off mine though so paying 5750. I’ve not come across anyone on here who has had open septo with him yet though sorry, I am also trying to find people who have had a graft and its more rare. Good luck at your consultation hun, he does have a book of pictures there and if you ask him to show ones more specific to what you want he will be able to as that’s what I did for my second consult with him x x

I think it is at highgate my operation, I don’t mind my nose straight on or on a side on picture its at an angle that I dislike my nose, I have felt rubbish about it for a long time and I have had comments on it. Dr G said its slightly over rotated and I think it just looks weird, I will have to upload some more pictures of it so people can see. I did consider for a time if I should have my chin done instead, but when I see photographs my nose is the first thing that bothers me. Dr G does agree though that because my chin is set far back it does make my nose seem unbalanced. I keep panicking thinking have I done the right thing booking it, you are the third person to say that my nose seems ok. I’m completely worrying about swelling as well, but will going with a different surgeon change the amount of swelling? I hope your consultation goes well with him, atleast you get an idea of what he thinks he would need to do and if you go for other consults you can compare them. Yes of course add me hun, I know what you mean everyone will say be happy with yourself, but you are number one you have to do it for yourself, and thats why I want it. people that say that, don’t have to live with it but we do! You are not wasting money, I see it as an investment in my happiness. I am so unconfident, if someone gives me a compliment I actually think they are joking and messing me around so I know how you feel. I am also considering a BA but a bit further down the line after all this is out of the way, but it all sounds so confusing I wouldn’t even know where to start with sizes and types of implants. I am in north wales so highgate is so far but its the closest that Dr G operates at, so its a 2 hour train journey but 5 hours in the car! I’m glad I could help in some way, its so useful to speak to people on here I would be lost without it and you have been helpful to me as well, I find that a lot of girls who have the noses done don’t use this forum as much as BA girls do so I haven’t seen loads of results pictures that are further down the line but ist good to have a chat to others that are considering. I’m booked to have open septo rhino with grafts with Dr G in April. I paid my deposit last May but after meeting Dr G I knew he would be the guy to do my nose. My nose shape is the result of a rare genetic condition that I only found out I had in 2011 and when I had my consult Mr G took the time to ask me about my condition and was going to do his own research. He was the only surgeon out of the ones I went to see that took an interest in my condition. You have to go with your gut feeling at the end of the day, who you feel is the right surgeon for you hun. Yeah I don’t know where my avi pic has gone (which shows how my nose currently is) but I will put pics up. I’ll add you hun. I’m having extra procedure done but you’ve been quoted less than me for rhino. You will get you final price once you have seen Mr G.
