i have my op booked for 18th Jan and ive been looking around for decent post-op bras but am really struggling!
can anyone recommend any? I heard that the ASDA ones are the best but they only have a couple of sizes online and a lot of them have been discontinued!

Hi Minnie,
I have posted about this a few times as I had a right panic over bras. Last minute I bought loads, in the end the best ones were the ASDA comfort ones – I’ve lived in them for the past 3 weeks, they have no fastenings but you can just step in to it and pull it up: http://direct.asda.com/george/womens-lingerie/comfort-seamless-bra-black/GEM264608,default,pd.html. Any sort of seamless sports bra will be most comfortable. Primark and M&S have loads of sports bra’s too but honestly I wouldn’t waste too much money. I spent a fortune and in the end I’ve only wore the £6 ones from ASDA. There good because you don’t need to know cup size of anything like that. I’d maybe just get one that fastens (front or back it doesn’t matter) for the day of your surgery just so it’s easier for them to put on – I changed in to the comfort one as soon as I got home, I could believe how uncomfortable the others I bought were!

My op isn’t for another 3 weeks so i haven’t tried these bra’s but i’ve ordered a couple from sports direct, they’re all really cheap atm- 60% off and look good, xx
ah thank you so much that’s so so helpful!! i was starting to panic i wasnt going to find anything in time! xxx
I’ve just been lookin at those ones in asda n was wondering if they will be ok on the day.
I think I’m gonna get some of those & order some from sports direct as I also need a zip/button up front top. Mine is 4 weeks away but I like to get everything prepared well in advance.
Do you know how many we’re meant to have? I’m assuming we need to put a clean one on everyday to prevent infection, do you think 4 will be enough? xx
I think 4s definitely enough! As long as you wash them when you change them 🙂 I got some medium impact sports bras from tesco for £4 then found a padded sports bra in the sale for £3! I’d look in sales now if I were you! xx
Good plan! I’ve ordered 2 but will go out and have a hunt in the sales tomorrow xx
