    My pre op has been rearranged for 31st Jan i had to postpone because of the snow she has mentioned i have bloods taken just wondering if anyone can tell me what else is discussed? xx

    Hi, your medication, height, weight etc, they talk you through the op n what to do post op & take pre op pics xx

    Hi Miss Morris.,
    The pre-op appointment with the Nurse is to ensure that you are completely prepared for surgery. The nurse will go right through your medical history, take your height/weight/blood pressure, take MRSA swabs and bloods if necessary. They will also provide you with important information that they need to know before and after your procedure i.e do’s and don’ts. They will also book your first post op appointments with the Nurse, take pre-operative photos and give out the 24 hour careline number.
