Hi,
Just wondering how much notice Mya give you if you opt for the late space appointment? I mean could they call you the day before and offer you a slot??
Any personal experience would be great!
Cheers 🙂
I’m not sure if they would leave it as late as that.. I rang my clinic on the Wednesday and booked my op for the Monday after. Oh and got an unbelievable price! When it’s as late as that, think they just want the bed filled xx
You have to go for ur pre-op where they take ur blood and swabs for mrsa so would need time for these results to come back before u go for ur op xx
Thanks for your reply Nicki… I would just need enough time to book some A/L.! I heard they heavily discount the late space appointments so sounds like a good option . 🙂
No probs 🙂 yeah if u can be flexible with dates, I would def reccommend u go for that option. So glad I did! Also means u don’t have the big build up & long wait beforehand where ur stressing about everything little thing! This way it’s over in a flash! Xx
That too makes sense!
I’m still looking into options, haven’t even booked for first consultation….I’m doing my research and this forums really helpful too.
🙂
I know, I find It really helpful- I’m always on here!
I had a few consultations with 3 different companies about 5 years ago but didn’t go ahead with it. This time I had my first consultation with mya on 4th Dec and had my op 21st Jan n I didn’t imagine it would be as quick as that! But happy it turned out that way. I met 3 surgeons at Mya, it’s good to get a few different opinions. So glad I didn’t go with the first one I met as he wouldn’t le me go as big as I have!
Good luck with ur consultation & hope u manage to get a bargain on a late space! Xx
I took a late space I had my surgery within 3 weeks of my first consultation the discount was massive so couldn’t turn it down and I think if i’d had longer to think about it the nerves would have got the better of me x
When u do late space ops can u get them on finance or do u need to pay the full amount immediately? X
I had to pay the full amount up front so ya might need ya finance sorting out first x
Aah I’m already booked in for end of feb anyway, and I’m getting them on finance. I knew it would b cheaper to do the late space but I’m the worlds worst saver so finance was my only option! Even if the price was double it would still b worth it in my eyes 🙂 can’t wait for my boobies!!! Xxxx
I can’t save at all but my hubby got made redundant so thought we’d do it while we had the money cos there’s no way we could have afforded it any other way x
Can any one tell me how much cheaper it would be if you did have a late space. I got a price given to me yesterday at my 1st consultation and if i pay in full i get quite abit knocked off which sounded like a good price x
Hi u can get anything from £250-£750 knocked off I’m working on a budget , also I jus asked what deal they would do for paying cash xxx
I got £1000 off but it was a very late space close to christmas so I don’t think they had much chance of filling the space with anyone else!! My pc even said she’d never seen such a good discount x
wow £1000 off thats great x
I booked my op 5 days before n got an unbelievable discount too. Was initially quoted £4495 for naturelles but with the late space I just paid £3000 xx
Those kind of savings are really good! Nicki how long ago did you have your op and where? Thanks
I had it on Monday at Preston first trust with mr Mounir. I only booked it last Wednesday! Xx
Ahhh congrats!! And Wow again @ the saving!!!
If you decide to pick a late space how does it exactly work. Also do you get to pick your preffered sergeon or do you have to have who they pick for you or just who they have on the day xx
🙂 thank u!
Well I jz rang up the clinic n asked if there were any late spaces. There was with mr mounir. Was actually hoping for mr traynor or mr kazzazi cos I’d already had consultations with them but they were both fully booked. For that price I jz booked in with mr mounir n went to meet him at the clinic 2 days later. So glad it worked out this way as luckily he was the surgeon I liked the most and instantly I felt at ease with him so worked out for the best in the long run 🙂 xx
