I booked in July 2012 and the first date available was November 2012, but then I got brought forward three weeks.

You have to pay 52 days before if I remember rightly.

Be worried about MYA aftercare though – Mr G is amazing, but MYA has not been good for jodifox 🙁 x

Hi al11x, I spoke to my pc around the 7th December and they had a few dates in April then I booked on the 18th December and only one date available in April was left which I couldn’t do so I had 1st May, but pc said June was already starting to get busy. Ideal if you can be flexible on dates (I couldn’t) and also depends what kind of rhino you are having as my op is longer than normal, if your only having closed they may be able to fit you in sooner as op time is shorter. You can pay full amount if you want to, 500 secures your date though. I live in north wales as well and been to London twice already to meet Dr G so spent quite a bit of money on travel, but I think its worth it to make sure you are in safe hands and the surgeon is a good one.
I hope you get it sorted soon Jodifox, its not good enough, but keep hearing it over and over on here, they need to employ some PC’s that actually care.

I think you can still have closed if there is only a little tip work needing, but the surgeon decides that once you have met them and they know what you want to achieve. I am paying 5700, I was originally quoted 5450 and then after my 2nd consultation they said 6050 but I kicked off a little and they knocked 300 off. I went for my pc consult in Liverpool, then went to meet Dr G and I wanted to go see him again to talk to him more about what I wanted as I had unanswered questions, then will see him again right before the operation. Yeh London is so busy, better off getting an appointment earlier in the day or quite late so you miss the rush x x x

I know that a few girls who just had open payed 5450, mine is more because I’m having a graft as well, I am not sure how much closed is though but cheaper then 5450.I know it would be handy wouldnt it! Hopefully it won’t go over that, but luckily Mya do free consultations which saves loads of money as other surgeons I looked into charge 150 just to speak to them for 15 minutes.
