Well….can you wear make up on the day and take it off once youve arrived at the hospital ? I cant bare leaving the house without any make up on i feel so uncomfortable…..just a bit of mascara and bronzing pearls on my cheeks ? Im getting the train down on the day ? Fair enough if youre not allowed at all but i rather would hahaha…. i guess i could ask all these things on pre op day which is this tuesday coming up but eager to know now haha xxxx thanks xxx

I totally no how you feel I wore sunglasses from the house and on the tube , whilst waiting in reception at the hospital much to the disappointment and slight embaresment of my sister who came with me . Found the biggest pair I had to hide my dark circles around my eyes . Wished I’d wore make up there then cleaned it of . So yes I sure you can wear it there.xx

No products on your skin before surgery, but you can definitely wear make up there and then take it of before you go down to theatre, I am 2 weeks post op and just feeling better, you will wake up from surgery smelling of sweat though because of the anaesthetic and the general operation, but nothing a baby wipe can’t fix!
