Hi can any girls please advise me, I am due to have my pre-op tomorrow. However, a year ago I had to see a psychologist due to extreme circumstances, it was only for a few month was more like just someone to talk to not involved in the situation. I am not under anyone’s care and the doctor is writing me a note saying that there is no reason why this should affect my surgery. Can this make them not operate?? Getting worried now please help x
Ur panicking over nothing, if the GP had said he didn’t think u should have it then that would change things but if he’s given his consent it’ll all be fine. Xx
You’ll be fine. I’m on meds and have therapy. Only reason they would be concerned was if you had body dystrophic disorder. Will make no difference. Xxx
Hey, u will be fine . I suffered from really bad depression bk in 2009 an had to take anti D’s an sleeping tablets I got so poorly I took an overdoes, I was very poor for a while but I’m totally fine now. I had my pre op last weds an am now having my op Monday . We all go through horrible situations Hun they wont hold it against u . I hope all is well now xx good luck with your pre op tomorrow xxx

You will be fine hun! I had exactly the same thing and I’m taking Sertraline! They just need to cover themselves for body dismorphia! Well that’s what I was told anyway! I was ok got letter from doc (which was a nightmare to get) but I had my op today! Good luck xx
Yes I jus told them an said that was my past an a very low point of my life but I came through it an I’m fine now. They just have to ask but to be honest I don’t think they were to concerned. I agree with what Becky said . Good luck for today , ur one step closer 🙂 xxx

Hi girls had the pre-op, they said my pulse was fast (hopefullly this was just due to my nervousness) I told them, so now they want a discharge letter, which I don’t have!! Having to try and get the hospital or my GP to fax or email them it asap. Hope this is ok and that my bloods and MRSA are ok, xx
