Well ladies I got with my ex3 months ago with a year apart.. We was perfect for 6 weeks until problems started arising … I’m a size 8! With long blonde hair I would I’m in gd shape ..he started saying I needed to go to gym more as when I was single I went more… This really upset me as I use to have a eating disorder when I was 18 . I told him how it made me feel he said he only said it because he loves my gym wear… Week after I got stuck in snow on a night out and stayed at my dads friends house… I explained everything through text as he didn’t answer phone next morning he rung me… He got mad called me mumbling fool .
I got over this and last week he said he wasn’t ready for marriage but wanted kids next year and maybe in 5-10 maybe marriage . I just had enough and moved to mums … Am I stupid ? Also my family hate him think he arrogant ??? I love him just hurts xxx
Oh Georgia. That sounds awful. Sounds to me like he is a bit of a control freak bpeople don’t mentally abuse you ( and that’s what it is) if they love you. I appreciate you love him but it sounds to me that he is treating you bad to a) make you leave him or b) to make you feel so low about yourself because he’s scared of losing you. If your family (who love you unconditionally) do not like him there must be a reason for that. You’re a beautiful woman, do not let him wreck your self esteem especially if you have had issues in the past. Try and walk away girl. It won’t be easy but if you have overcome an eating disorder you can do ANYTHING! Xx
Sounds like you need to get out of that relationship – and fast!!!
What an idiot telling you you need to go to the gym, especially after what you went through.
I’d tell him to sling his hook and leave you to find someone who loves you for you x
I feel for you hun, but the relationship is not going to work if the love is one sided hun, your worth more than that !! every woman is x
Hey Hun hope your ok you wanna sin bin that man just think about wots best for you if he loves you it would be for the way you are you need time out for self to get back on track x
i know it hurts when you love someone and its hard to stay away or leave them ,but he sounds very much a control freak and you deserve better huni ,things will only get worse iv been in this situation before ,when you meet the right man you soon realise what an idiot you was last with ,i bloody wish i was a size 8 🙂 ,dont change for anybody only yourself .big hugs .x x x
Get out, stay out and don’t go back. I’m 45 yrs old and just left a 30 yr relationship, for years I wasn’t happy, basically what I’m saying is…..don’t waste yr time on a looser like that, someone out there is waiting for you to walk into his life! Be happy and gorgeous ! X
if you are happy with the way you are then stay that way.. you shouldnt change for any1!!!! xxxxxxx
Couldn’t have put it better myself Kate! Sounds like your guy is pretty insecure himself Georgia! No one can tell you what to do or how to feel and it makes things 10x worse if you really love someone but guys like that wont change they just belittle you down and keep chipping away until the person you were no longer exists! I’ve been there done that and sooooo glad I finally saw the light! I wasted far too many precious years of my life with a coward! I’m finally happy, settled with 2 beautiful children! Find your strength and walk away before it’s too late! Your family will be your rock so lean on them to get through this! I did and so can you! Keep your chin up xxxx
keep runnung as far away from him as you can! controling and mentel abuse spring to mind!!!! and if your family hate him its never going to be a happy relationship. if there is such a thing as a mr right for everyone i dont think his your mr right.
sorry it may sound harsh but i think it sounds like you can do much better x
The good news is that there are some good men out there you need to be strong and tell him to swivel and that he is an emotional moron oh and that he should reacquaint himself with his hand as that’s the only action he will be seeing… good luck Hun x
