    Hiya op in 3 days, sounds daft but just wondering if I’m allowed to wadh my hair on the day I go in. Am I allowed to put conditioner on and heat protection spray ? Worrying about daft things ha. X x

    I washed mine the morning if my OP they don’t say not too & I can’t think of any reason u can’t use the heat spray x

    Yes you can wash your hair. You can shower on the morning of surgery only thing they say no to is no moisturiser, have a read over the stuff your nurse gave you of dos and donts. Good luck xx

    I am worried in general how are people washing their hair post op? I’m only 18 and I find mine needs washing, once every other day!

    I know its a daft thing to worry about but I’m wondering how I’m gonna manage it too! I hav quite short hair and its always a complete mess on a morning so I wash it every morning pretty much! I’m gonna be a right scruff until I can shower again! As I don’t even see how I can wash it in the bath without getting bandages wet! X

    I got a shallow bath then knelt over the bath n got my partner to wash it with shower head, this was a few days after OP

    Think that’s I’m going to have to do kneel over the bath and use he use but doesn’t leaning over hurt? Mines the same mine is very short and needs waging regularly be side it gets greasy quite quick!
    Everybody is different Nicola depends how quickly your scars heal! You will be told at your check ups when you can shower xx
