    Hey girls,
My op is next wednesday, finally less than a week to go! I started my countdown at 72days and now its only 6!!!
My PC said I’ll get a call 3 days before the op to tell me my admission time and train journey details (as they are sorting the travel out for me as I’m an overnight case), but was just wondering if anyone had actually rang up MYA or indeed the hospital before that 3days to find out the info. I like to b organised and its doing my head in not even knowing train times or even what station I’ll b leaving from!
Also, what’s the rules on visiting hours at Preston?
    Thanks girls!! Xx

I just waited for my admission time but was going in car so didn’t matter too much to me. I don’t suppose there’s any harm in trying! I think visitors can stay as long as u want them to. My hubby stayed till about 8 but I was really tired n felt bad sleeping while he was there.
The staff and nurses are really lovely at first trust, I’ve been 3 times and been well looked after every time. I even sent a thank you card last time! Hope u enjoy your stay there! Good luck hun 🙂 xx
