Hey girls 🙂 I was wondering what happens at the pre op? I haven’t got the date of it yet but my boyfriend is away with work for 3 weeks and I’m abit nervous about going myself! xx
You’ll be fine kirsty, I had to go on my own too! The nurse will also go through the things that u should/shouldn’t be doing before n after surgery, give u some info to take away with u. I had mrsa swabs taken as well as blood. Oh n she also took my before pics. Good luck xx
Just come back from pre-op and all the nurse did was go through do’s and dont’s for before/after surgery. Took my blood pressure and took some blood. She also took my pre-op pictures! I wasn’t weighed or measured! Think every nurse is different but that’s the basics of what will happen :-). I went on my own hun, really nothing to worry about I promise :-).
