I bought loads of stuff for po op and didn’t need half of it as I had no pain but things I used regularly were…v pillow sleeping upright is so hard the v pillow made it easier. Ice gel pack from boots but buy two as they defrost quickly so whilst you are using one the other can be in the freezer also they can be heated up and used on any back pain from sleeping upright. Easy cook meals as cooking will be hard. Some ex lax as you will get constipation. Multi pack of 500ml bottled water to keep next to your bed and make sure you take them out of the packaging. Paracetamol which brings down swelling and if you are not in pain they can be used in place of the super strong painkillers. Skin anti bacterial wipes so you can keep your armpits and downstairs somewhat clean until you can shower after one week. Bio oil your skin will feel tight make sure you don’t get any on your bandages. If you want to speed up healing start juicing and hot yoga before your surgery the healthier you are the quicker you will heal. Good luck x
