Hi girls, had my ba yesterday! So happy with them, I’m just wondering what kind if pain and/or pressure you felt? Mine just feels like my chest is squashed lol and I find it hard to get up from sitting down,
How long does this last? Xx

Congratulations Naomi! awesome that u r happy with results!
my ba was on tuesday, so i am still in strapping… i also felt tight, couldnt lift my arms much (i had overs) in the first couple of days. bumm felt sore because of sleeping on the back all time ;D but besides that i felt ok! could do most of things slowly and even went shopping 😀 in a couple of days i could lift arms above the head and now i can wear cloths almost normally. I felt sick on the 3d day from painkillers, so changed it to paracetamol and ibuprofen after consulting with a nurse. i can say that i get tired quicker at the moment, but i think it is expected. i am impatient to see results 😀 and just waiting though the first week… my cloths esp jackets are quite tight on the boobs now 😀 which i actually really enjoy!!! 🙂 hope you heal fast and everything goes smoothly 🙂 xx

Mine felt really tight, and sometimes itchy and burning, other times nothing at all. Think it will all just come and go randomly that’s one mine has done the past week.

Hiya doll, did you have overs or unders? I had overs and to be honest everyone is different but apart from the first hour post op I had no pain at all. I have a really high pain threshold I think but I would say it was more discomfort, like the tight feeling you described. I went back to work after 6 days and still felt pretty uncomfortable sat at my desk and was walking hunched over for a while! I think after about 2-3 weeks things really loosened up but to be honest I have only just started to feel completely normal, with no tightness at all and I am nearly 6 weeks post op. you will find that when you wake up in the morning it’s pretty tight so it’s important not to sit still for too long and keep moving around. Itching and burning is normal too. I think pretty much anything is normal in the first few weeks! X

Yes very normal! Keep checking your dressings as my incisions started bleeding slightly after a few days so had to ring the nurse, it was all fine though 🙂 just check them every morning and night and if you’re worried about anything give your nurse a call. Be careful about asking too many clinical questions on here as remember none of us are medically trained so we can only tell you from our own experience 🙂 xxxx

Thank you, I feel fine apart from that, and I think it mighty be because I’ve just woke up… My arms don’t really hurt to lift, and I’m I my 2 days post op so I might give my pc a call later, thanks for the advice Hun xxxx
