So excited! I received my letter yesterday with my admission time for Sat 6th April at Fitzroy Hospital – it’s 730am which I’m chuffed about as I wanted to get in early 🙂 has anyone else been a day case at 730am? If so, what time am I likely to be operated on, and when am I likely to be discharged? Any advice from experience would be great! Ellie xxx

I was at first trust and my admission time was 8am, had my op at 9:15 and was allowed to leave at 1:30 (I did rely well hence why I was allowed to leave so early) first one in the morning is the best as you don’t have any time to get worked up or stressed xx

Aw thanks Geraldine that’s really helpful! You did really well to get out so early – I hope I am the same! All depends how I react to the GA I suppose. But definitely happy that it’s an early slot – I won’t have time to get nervous! X

My admission time was 7am and I went down at 8.30. My heart rate was a bit high after so they monitored me for a while and I was allowed to leave about 3pm x

i had admission time at 730am got to theater at 10am, done at 11am back to room at 11.15 went home at 5pm. i stayed a bit longer just not to stand in traffic on the way back 😉
