Hey guys, how long after the op are you expected to not be able to lift your arms and stuff? I’m thinking that I own nothing that buttons up at the front that is suitable for when I go back to work 10 days after, so am I going to be able to lift my arms up to be able to get in my normal dresses?

My nurse said no lifting arms above my head for 6 weeks so I’ve sort of worked out a way to get dressed without lifting them. If you bend over when putting something over your head you don’t tend to raise your arms as much. It worked for me! Xx

u will be able to dress normally in a couple of days after ba. too tight clothes could be tricky to put over head as u need to pull them down, and pull up to take it off – that is the most painful and try to avoid it. zipping up, buttons and dresses should be fine. i wear most of things 2 weeks post op, if i can fit in my new boobies :DDD
