Hey Hun. I had mine done on Tuesday too. My nurse said the bra could come off for about 10 mins a day, no more. So I’ve been having a little peek and taking some pics so can see the progress.

Def suffering with being upright all the time, I’m just keeping popping the pain killers to help. How you getting on with pain etc? Where you have yours done? I had 340cc overs with transform…

I had mine done on Tuesday too but completely strapped up so can’t look 🙁 I have got a bra on over the top of my strapping and noticed that I have shoulder ache as the bra is too tight and leaving prints in my shoulders. Check that yours is ok and loosen it if you can xxx

yes my back is really hurting too!! and every night I panic that I’m not upright enough/at the wrong angle/etc etc! Even though I have 6 pillows, a V-pillow and a cushion!! So any tips gratefully recieved…have been told to try sleeping on the sofa so might try that tonight! Lyndsay please could I add you, I’m a transform girly too!! Had mine on Sunday, were you at Abbey Pines? Which surgeon did you have? x

Amber I’ve literally just said to my mum I think I’m going to sleep on the sofa tonight! My boobs don’t hurt its just my neck, back and shoulders from constantly sitting down and sleeping upright! It’s a nightmare! lol x

Molly sleeping on the sofa is so much more comfortable, I done the first two nights in bed and woke up feeling so sore and my boobs ached so much. As soon as I slept on the sofa I felt so comfortable, specially if you have a sofa with high back and sides so you can prop yourself up in the corner. Much better sleep. I used a hot water bottle for my lower back/bum, it helped ease the pain but after a couple of days of sleeping on the sofa the back pain went. Xxx

Thanks so much Katie, I’m definitely going to try the sofa tonight! My lower back/bum is sooo sore :-(. I thought my boob pain would be the trouble but it’s nothing compared to how sore my back, neck and shoulders are x x

Yeah I was exactly the same, and whenever I stood up I was like a hunch back where I’d been sitting down for so long and wasn’t used to the extra weight!! You’ll notice the difference straight away and the hot water bottle always helps. Happy healing! 🙂 xxx

Hey, yeah Amber no problem. So good to read everyone else’s experiences, have sat upright all day instead of leaning back today, gonna try it for sleep tonight! Amber, sure, good to know I’m not the only one! X

hi Molly, i am 2 weeks post op and yeah bum, back, neck and shoulders ache! for sleeping i have a long foam pillow (normally my partner uses it for sleeping on it but i confiscated it 😀 ) under my back and bum, then a v pillow on the top to support head and shoulders – this helps to keep boobs centered, when your arms are along your body.and i have just another pillow under my knees and calves – i will take a photo now, maybe will help. i sleep great! barely wake up at night.
    xx
