    Hi girls, had my op yesterday and just had a ‘shallow’ bath and washed my hair (probably a bit silly) but I think I got the bandages slightly wet. Underneath plasters covering the scars are dry but I’m worried it will swap down. I’ve made sure I’ve dried thoroughly but do you think it’ll be ok? Defo not doing that again!!

    Hi hun opps lol. Get the hair dryer on a cool heat to make sure , its realy important they don’t stay wet as it can slow healing and course infection . Don’t be tempted to take them off or peel them . Wear your bra in the bath . Wash your boobs with antibacterial wipes . Wash your hair in the sink bending your knees rather than bending over to much . It’s much safer get one of those fem washes for any skin above the belly just incase these are much safer . Xx
