Hi, I just want to know if anyone has had surgery to remove overhang on belly i have had 2 c sections and am so sick of having it, my second is now 10 months old and nothing i do seems to get rid of it, i read that crunches are bad, i am frightened of toning it i want to lose it first then tighten the area.

    Hi Minxy,

I might be able to help. I had overhang after having a multiple and then a sigle pregnancy. It was awful. So I went and had a full tummy tuck. I am 7 weeks post op and feel great. It was really worth it. I now have a flatter and tighter tummy. I won’t lie and tell you it wasn’t painful or that it was cheap. But it was a good decision, Perhaps it may be right for you? Why not give MYA a ring and book the free consultation? That’s what I did and now I am recovering. I have never felt so good! Was really dopwn about having this bit. My husband called it a ‘pouch’. Now I wear a size 12 and don’t have any bits hanging or sticking out where they shouldn’t lol

Hope that helps. Any questions you may have, please ask :)

Hi both, ive had to c sections. I had my both my kids in the space of 15months and my youngest is 13monts. I am back in a size 6 and weigh 6st 12lb, but i still have that smile as i call it. Its minging. I had a ba done wed through mya, so when im recovered from this i may look into a small tummy tuck, as they told me this is what it requires x x x

    Hi,

Well. Isn’t that funny? I had a full tummy tuck and 8 weeks post op and am already thinking of of a BA. But I don’t know whether to wait a few more weeks or so. Or find out now? What do you think?

    I’m having the same,
I had 2 children by c-section and put on so much weight I went from a size 6 to a size 16 during my first pregnancy done a bit better in my second and only put on 2 stone, but now 7 months after having my daughter I’m back down to and size 8-10 (lost over 4 stone!!) I have the overhanging skin where my scar is from my c-section. I aslo found that after having two children and loosing the weight my boobs were a bit lifeless compared to what they used to be so I had my boobs done last saturday (the 10th) and I’m having my tummy done in January (wanted to recover and get crimbo out of the way first!).

As far as I’m concerned I devoted my body to my kids during pregnancy and breastfeeding and now its time to put it back as it was for me! My hubby says he doesnt care what I look like but I’m doing this for me, whats the point in me loosing 4 stone if im still all saggy!!

I say go for it girls, its only one life you get… its not a trial run!xxxx

i have two children both natural births tho i was a comfy size 8-10 but with my daughter i put on 3 stone and it took me 2 years to get rid of the weight!! i had what i thought was a huge over hang and was very unhappy but knew i wanted more children so didnt want anything drastic so when i was pregnant with my son i put on 6 STONE!!!!! and i have an even bigger over hang and my arms are huge my legs are huge and my bum is out of this world im worried about how long it will take for me to loose this weight i wanted to get married next year but i dont want to look like a beach whale!! so if i was to have a full tummy tuck and liposuction would i look slimmer and would it be easier to tone and loose weight afterwards? im not used to being this big and it doesnt suit my 5ft frame i look really over weight!! what do you suggest???? xx
