    Hi there

    I’ve just joined this forum and was just wondering when will I start to feel like I can do things again? I had 340cc overs and my right boob is hurting me more than my left and also finding it hurts to move my right arm more than my left . Anyone else experiencing this?? Also my boobs feel rock hard and I think they look strange at the mo! I don’t like them right now but have been told they’ll change??

    Hi Janine , Im in 6 days post op, and I feel the sam.. my right boob hurts more than right.The nurse told me is normal as each boob heals different.Mines look like two balls but have to wait..let see in 1 week Im sure they swollen and softer. xx

    I did have my surgery with MYA and have been in touch with my PC but she’s on a day off today. I’m in for my post op appointment tomorrow so I’m sure I’ll have my questions answered then. Just finding it weird about the move my in
    My right arm being restricted so much more than my left but I’ll see tomorrow xx

    Hey laura, thank you for youre message. Yeah been told they will soften and change, think its such a dramatic change to your body you do start asking questions!! Are you sleeping ok? Have you been told to sleep upright? I’ve done this with the help of a V pillow since Tuesday and my back is killing me and I’ve got pins and needles in my bum! Can’t wait to feel back to normal again! Xx

    Janine! completly normal..look I was so down the first days..with a such pain and pressure…I have been sleeping upright since the BA and never expected I could sleep like that but just put some pillows behind the V pillow and you feel more comfi.and drink some sleepy time infusions they can help.About the bum,,I know what you mean is horrible!try to dont be lying on bed to much, walk a bit, strech your back and breath properly..try to stay stand up and then sit down in the sofa..cant´t wait to feel normal again ! but just need to be patience and positive ….xx

    Thank you for your message 🙂 think its just a lack of sleep, being run down so I’m full of mouth ulcers and the achy back from upright is all taking its toll! Had my post op appointment today and the nurse said my wounds had healed nicely altho I’m not too sure on one of them but gonna get my sister who is a nurse to have a look at it to see if she thinks its ok.     your feel like they look like cones at some points whilst there healing . one boob can hurt more than the other . u got to look at it like two indervidual operations. mine were rock hard for about 4 weeks then started to soften bit by bit each day. you will notice that they change week to week now i went back to work at 3 weeks but felt vunerable still however i think it was more just getting used to it all

    Try and keep your chin up hun i think we all get a bit of the boobie blues when your in pain and cant donmuch but it does get better im 3 weeks post op today and still find it hard to lift my left arm a bit but my right is fine. Try and stay positive it will all be worth it in the end x

    Awww thanks girls really kind if you to message, like i said think its just the lack of sleep making everything seem worse! Knackered.com! Will post some pics soon when I feel up to it. Look after yourselves xx

    Try some sleeping tablets hun i had for the first week and half i couldnt sleep sitting up now i cant sleep lying down so i still have all my pillows lol x
