Walking still uncomfortable 10 days post-op? Started by: Ellie

    Hi Ladies,

    I’m 10 days post-op with unders and I’m still struggling a fair bit to walk for more than 5 minutes at a time without feeling like my skin is really tight and my breasts feel really heavy and tight and it is difficult to breathe. I’m actually having to stop to have a rest before I can carry on walking. They feel so alien still and it’s such an uncomfortable feeling. Is this normal at 10 days post op? When will I be able to walk around without being in discomfort/pain? I’m going back to work next Monday and worried that it will still be the same then. Any advice of post-op experiences with unders would really help put my mind at rest 🙂

    I’m 9 day’s post op and I’m still in pain too I think everyones recovery is different some find it easier than others my implants are sitting quite high up too think it’s just going to take time for the muscles to relax though I found it alot easier to get out of bed this morning x

    Thanks Jo89 🙂 definitely finding it easier to get out of bed (thankfully) but its just whenever I leave the house I seem to struggle with the walking. Don’t feel very confident outside either. Mine are very hard and high still also, my chest muscles are being very determined and are not letting go! Time is a healer though and what I’ve learnt most is to be patient in the recovery as it’s not a fast healing process! X

    Yeah I know If only we could wake up tomorrow and be all healed ive brought some arnica today as ive heard it helps with swelling so I thought I’d give it a go ill try anything right now, today’s the first day ive put some clothes on and loved the shape under clothes now my bloated tummy is finally going down but I swear my bum has shrank haha x

    An that would be bliss, let me know how you get on with arnica – I haven’t used any yet but have really suffered with swelling. Was just hoping it would go away but I still swell up by the end of the day and have to loosen my bra. Putting clothes on is so good isn’t it! I was so fed up of hoodies! Ha, your bum probably feels smaller because you are bigger on top now 😉 my arms feel skinnier now that I have boobies!! Yay to boobies!! X

    Haha your probably right I know but now some of my tops dontfit so its a excuse to shop 🙂 ive managed to have a drive today so I’m loosening up abit now xx
