Bad Skin Post Op HELP!!! Started by: G

    Any advice for bad skin after op? Since my op on Friday my skin has gone crazy, worse than when I was a teenager 🙁 have tried creams, exfoliating and face packs but it just keeps getting worse 🙁 Any tips/advice would be so grateful Xxx

    If its the skin on your face, I’ve heard that its a side effect of the GA, you might just have to wait til its completely out of your system? xx

    Yeah it’s my face and nowhere else 🙁 Didn’t know that it was a side effect – wonder how long it will take it go :(( Xx

    I had terrible skin on my face, boobs and back. Im now three weeks post op and all back to normal. I think its a mixture of ga, and antibiotics. Just hang in there chick it will settle soon xxx

    oh god i really dont want this! ive only just got my skin back to normal its sooo tempremental! if it carries on, id go to the docs to get some antibiotic solution. i can’t put up with bad skin on my face, really gets you down doesn’t it. i really feel sorry for u coz i know how it feels. get yourself to docs xx

    I swear by germaline if I ever get a spot don’t pick put that on and it will go xx

    try boiled water with a wedge of lemon in it. Drink as much as poss. It settles hormones and detoxs your skin.

    I got my acne back on my back after 4 longgg years 🙁 changed my pill 2 weeks ago but it’s at it’s worst atm! So fed up of it now reallyyyy getting me down xx

    I was on dianette. That’s best for acne but does take a good month to see true effects xx

    I’ve found the same, I’m 16 days PO and my skin is so oily, clogged and spotted 🙁 Hope it goes soon xx

    i had it on my face n chest after the op its a side effect feom ga and antibiotix all u can really do is drink plenty of water and eat healty and hope it clears up quickly x

    Hi girls – thanks for the tips. I’ll 6 days po now and it’s starting to clear now which is a relief as I’m braving the outside world into Glasgow tomorrow to get my bandages off and a first look at the incisions :O Eeeek! Xx
