Hi girls! Slept laying on my back with lots of pillows last night! But now wondering if I have to actually sleep sitting up??!! X
I was wondering too, how long are you supposed to sleep sitting up….x
I’m 3 days po and sleep mostly sitting up, how far post op are u? Mayb check with a nurse? Xx
If I lay flat I don’t think I could get back up, could you? I’m one day post op. so do you lie down at all cherry? Xx
I’m one day post op! Haven’t layed flat flat but I’ve layed with 3 pillows so up a bit then just get my legs out the bed 1st then slowly get up lol xx
I have to sit up? My hubby has to help me up from just sitting on the sofa??? xx
It’s so hard getting up ain’t it don’t wanna use my arms feel like I gotta try bounce up lol! Our poor hubby’s running around what would we do without them lol x
I have to big pillows and a v pillow all on a slant. So I’m laying back on them, not fully sitting up or laying down, if that makes sence? Lol xx
Yeah Hun that makes sense! Lol Im gona get me a v pillow I think xx
I got One a few days ago as I’m starting to get stuff over the next couple of months and OMG! Definitely get one, so amazingly comfortable and supportive! Xx
they like you to sleep fairly up right for around 10 days so i was told because its to try to keep to implants in there pockets whilst they are healing x
Iv been sleeping on my back slightly upright with a v pillow and 2 other pillows, I’m 12 days post op now and my butt is soo sore as I’m not used to lying flat on my back, I usually curl up on my side.. Can’t wait until I can start sleeping properly again, I miss my foetal position lol xx
I’m 9 days post op and saw nurse 2 days ago she said I still have to sleep upright till 10 days! The whole point is to stop any swelling occurring! My bum is sore even with a pillow under it but it would be physically impossible for me to stay upright without my 2 v-pillows they are a must x
Awe girls! How long does it take before you stop feeling stiff and feel normal again? X
I remember this all well, aww i feel for you ladies! sleeping at a 45degree angle is a must for 2 weeks the nurse told me.. helps with swelling & keeps the implants in their new pockets, I used to play brain quiz on my phone to help tire my brain out to the max & get my bf to either rub my hands or hair sometimes if I reallyyyy just couldn’t sleep (else I told him I’d keep him up haha) he enjoyed it really soppy thing 😛 it was the first 2 weeks being the worst for me with pain/discomfort/lack of sleep/stiffness..hang on in there poppets breathe through it & ride it all out it will soon be a distant memory for you & you’ll have awesome bangers too 😉 xx
