Had boobies done yesterday and honestly it’s been a dream.
Please all stop worrying, it’ll be the best decision you’ll make.!
The pain isn’t anywhere what I was expecting, mainly just stiff & tight. Bit like muscular pain.
The hospital staff were absolutely lovely & Dr Traynor is a God, straightforward and reassuring.
Arrived early because traffic was good, was meant to be there for 9, but they showed my to my room straigtaway at 8.15.
The First Trust hospital has a peacock called Turkey, he spent most the day keeping me company by my window.
Ended up down at theatre for 10.30, back up within the hour.
They have Internet if you pay £5, so we watched a film off Internet.
Had some tea & toast and then felt perky enough to paint my nails! Looked a bit like Casper so threw a bit of makeup on and off we trotted home. Out by 4.
Felt well enough to venture out for pub grub with my boyfriend. Took it easy, was a bit light headed, but just a tipsy couple of vino kinda feeling.
Only awkward thing is sleeping upright, invested in a v pillow & loads firm pilliows for round arms and back, just need propping up-it’s doable.
Drinking loads fluids, pineapple juice and taking meds regularly (including through the night), so I build up a pain resistance.
Also Arnica for healing & ibuprofen helps- got an alarm set to remind me of med times!
Oh & my boobies look so juicy round and natural, they lovely.
Hope this puts all your minds at rest, I was a complete worrier but I needn’t have been at all, you’re in great hands.
