Bit peeved….but big thanks Started by: Sue

    I’m a little peeved at my pc as I haven’t heard from her since my op, nor did I hear from her before I went in. I texted her the day before my op to ask if she had my admission time, to which she replied she would ring later that day to let me know. Much, much later that day I had a call from a nurse telling my what time I had to be there, and that she would call me the day after the op to see how it went. I’ve heard nothing from either of them.
    All I can say is thank goodness for this forum and the girls who take the time to comment and support you when needed. Don’t get me wrong, if I need the nurse or my pc I’ll be on the phone straight away, but wouldn’t it be nice if they really did care enough……
    I’d like to say thanks to all the girls on here who take the time and make the effort to put your mind at rest and comfort you in a time of need. You’re all lovely and I for one am grateful and appreciate your comments. 🙂 xxxx

    Defiantly agree Sue. I was so ill after my op and felt so nice to have the other girls support on here, don’t know what I would of done without this forum, thanks Ladies 🙂 xxxx

    To be fair to my pc and all the other staff, everyone has been brilliant at MYA, but I had read in previous posts that as soon as your op is done they can sort of disappear, and it seems mine have done that. I’m going to see the nurse next Thursday for my 7-10 day appointment so as long as I receive the aftercare I’ve paid for then I’m happy with that.

    standard MYA to not call you. been dealing with it for 1 year 3/4months ……im due a corrective reop….they love to avoid calling me to inform me on anything…..

    glad your op at least went well….congrats!

    In Myas defence, I had a call telling me my admission time and then another call after my op asking how it went.0, I rung with concerns and the nurse rung me straight back! I called today and got put straight throu to the nurse n chatted to her! Nothing from my pc but gotta remember she’s with other pre op/post op clients too! xx

    You don’t need to defend Mya, I’m very happy with my overall experience & would definitely recommend them, absolutely no question 🙂
    I’m also fully aware that they have other clients as I work in the medical environment myself. A nurse has contacted me now and I’m happy with that.
    I’m glad you had your concerns dealt with promptly RachelH, it makes all the difference doesn’t it if you’re worried about something xx

    Hiya lovely Sue i think i said the same to you when you first started thinking about having the op that i loved the whole experience and would recommend MYA but just warned you that just a bit more pc contact wouldn’t have gone a miss !! hope your feeling better each day hun xx

    Hiya chick, you certainly did, and I’m glad she’s contacted me now 🙂

    I was quite emotional yesterday, I would’ve been better off in bed and keeping my mouth shut!!

    I’m doing ok, slight pain but to be expected, can’t wait to get these babies on show 😉 How are you?? xxxx

    Yer i think i was the same after a few days and was weird because you have this amazing build up to having the ba done then it’s all done and dusted i couldn’t help feeling a bit low after all the excitement :(. They do look fab even at this early stage no wonder you want to show them off 😉
    Have been bikini shopping for the dolls it’s so nice a feeling not to have to look for the ones with the best padding !! i have got some triangle ones that would have made me look shite before but what a difference a bit o boob makes xxx

    Ooh, lovely! Went there with our Lou and the kids just after Lucas was born. Good times 🙂

    We’ve got Inverness sorted in August to go see my mummy and brothers. Our Andrew is 50 so we’re having a surprise party. We’ve also got my nieces wedding and two 21st parties to fork out for, and with Kev just moving in it’s an expensive time overall!! We said we’ll see towards the end of the year. xx
