    What happens at your 1 week post op appointment? Does the nurse take your dressings off your incisions etc.? I took my own strapping off :/ xxx

    I had mine yesterday and they took my strapping off check my Scars, cleaned them and put steri strips on them which I got to wear for 3 days. I wouldn’t worry about taking your strapping off early xx

    At my 1 week check the nurse removed the strapping, cleaned the incisions, removed steri strips & put fresh ones on then she felt breasts checked for anything unusual put my sports bra on and off I went x

    My nurse helped me take my strapping off, then she took my scar bandages off. Took pictures and booked in my 6 week check appointment with my surgeon. x

    I had my stitches removed and area cleaned and all checked. I’m now free of everything and just wearing a sports bra. Able to shower aswell!!! x
