    I’m due to have a open rhino with Dr G on the 3rd of June. I know u have your stiches out a week later than the cast off a week later but I really need to be back at work after 9 days. The vast majority of surgeons take the cast off after a week but Dr G seems very particular about the full two weeks. Has anyone had theirs off earlier with him? Thanks in advance guys

    Hi Kelly,

    I’m also with Dr G on Monday 3 June – are you in as a day case or overnight? I had my pre-op a few weeks ago and I was due to be back at work exactly two weeks after my op but the nurse was insistent that I couldn’t have my cast off earlier so now I’m back in work on the Tuesday. Ideally I wanted to get mine off on the Friday but I’ve figured that if I’m paying that much money then I’ll do whatever he says! x

    I had closed rhino last September and its REALLY important u keep on ur cast for as long as Dr G wants. He’s the expert and all the noses he’s done including mine are brilliant, feel free to add and take a look at my pics but just trust in Dr G he’s a genius x

    With open rhino Dr G wants it on for a minimum of 12 days. Mine is on for 14 days though because they didn’t have any available appointments any sooner x
