    My admission time is 12.30 on Tuesday! I wanted to be a LOT earlier as I wanted to be in there ASAP so I don’t spend time working myself up and getting really nervous!! How quickly did people go down from their admission times? I’m at Highgate xxx

    I’m also a day case so I’m wondering why I’ve got such a late admission time, did anyone else have a later admission time for a day case???xxx

    My admission was 2pm at Highgate. I was in surgery at around 4 but the hospital was being refurbished so their was a little delay for my room. I was discharged at 10pm after speaking to the surgeon. It would’ve been a little earlier but he went back into surgery just after the nurse said she was happy for me to go. The whole thing went really quickly though and everyone was brilliant and helpful xxxx

    Ok cool, I just thought it was late for a day case! Obviously not! 🙂 thanks. Were you allowed to have your visitor with you in your room the whole time?xxx

    They do let you have people in tour room. My friend only came after surgery though as he was working. I didn’t mind having the time to myself to get used to it and have a good look 🙂 but when he did arrive they were lovely and brought him tea and dinner too. He was well happy with the ice cream haha

    Yes they do, vanilla 🙂 there’s also a tv in your room for him to amuse himself for an hour. Tuesday will be here in no time, yay!!! 🙂 Good luck hunni xxx
