6 weeks check :( Started by: Cheryl

I’m at the Nottingham clinic and they told me at my 12 day check to ring the Birmingham number and book my appointment for the Nottingham clinic (confusing as I thought they could have done that for me at the Nottingham clinic seen as its there my appointment will be) been trying to get I touch with the Birmingham clinic since 11 days post op with no joy and no call back when I leave a message which irritates me, makes you wonder why some people have a voicemail haha. Just don’t want to be stuck in this sports bra for any longer than I need to especially in this heat it’s awful, want to get back in the gym etc but not sure when I can as that’s apparently what they would discuss with me at my 6 weeks check. Only other option I have is to go to Birmingham which is 1 hour 40 mins each way to have a 6 week check, but I can’t as my little girl is in school and nobody to take her in or pick her up xxx

Thanks hunni, might just think sod it and wear a bra at 6 weeks but don’t wanna do any damage. How far post op are you now chick? Xx

Yay my pc has just called me and explained everything to me about the move, it should be within the next 2-3 weeks I get seem fingers crossed 🙂 and also said to call her in 2 weeks when I will be 6 weeks as she will assess where I am over the phone and I should hopefully be able to wear normal bras then without waiting for my check 😀 a lot happier now. It will soon fly by Hun, I can’t believe where the last 4 weeks ago, was only 6 weeks ago tomorrow that I was having my first consultation and I’m now 4 weeks post op, it’s crazy soon be Christmas haha xxx
