Hi girls
I’m 6 days post op today and all afternoon the skin on my boobs and nipples has felt sore and stretched and it hurts to touch.. Even the macom feels like it’s irritating it! Feels a bit like I have sunburn but it’s not that.. Have put some bio oil on them but has anyone else had this? xx

Hiya chic,

im 7 days post op – but mine are my incisions, tlike a stinging kinda feeling, not really painful as such :/
is bio oil helping you?

I though you we not ment to use bio oil until scars completely healed over like 6 weeks later ???

I’m just putting bio oil on the skin on my boob not the actual scar…
Yeh it’s kind of like that Sarah i had my plasters off my incisions today and its been since then, but mines all over!! Put the bio oil on cos I’m worried it’s the skin stretching!! It’s not helping the pain though!

Hiya, I’m 4 weeks post op and my skin is still slightly sore, just keep using the oil, it’s probably because we’ve been stretched so much that the skin is getting used to it xx

Hello Layla! I had this before leaving the hospital! I had like patches of it in certain places at first! I was literally waiting in reception and my mum called the nurse to come to me as I was worried she told me it was were my nerves were mending themselves back together! I’m 2 and a bit weeks post op now and I it’s stopped now! You’ll get some weird pains and tweaks but its all normal Hun!xx

Ok thats great thanks girls! Good to know its all normal!
I have been using bio oil and cocoa butter twice a day cos im so scared of getting stretch marks and the pain has eased off a little bit now! But is still quite sore sometimes!

i had the exact some feeling it feels so much like sunburn its weird but it is just the skin stretching, iam now nearly 7 weeks post op and i have no pain what so ever anymore! except my insicions can feel a bit stingy sometimes when i dont wear a bra but think thats just the air getting to them! feels weird ! x
