Hi lovelies, I’m having my op on wed and am staying overnight at the hospital, Is there any advice on what to take with me? Either for the car or while I’m in hospital? Xxx
Hey Caroline I would say :
Open front pjs as u over night
Hair brush and bobble if u want to tie hair up
Your arnica tablets
lucozade to give u some energy back
Lots of mags or a good book
Something to snack on cereal bar or cracker and cheese if u not that Hungery for hospital food
Something easy to slip on like maxi dress or thin hoodie to travel home in flat shoes/sandles to slip on
And your sports/macom bra can’t think of anything else Hun xxx good luck xx
Toothbrush and something to suck as people say they get sore throat after
Ah thank you 🙂 that’s great. I haven’t got arnica tablets what do they do? Xxx
Arnica was recommended by my nurse and all the girls swear by them to heal quicker, reduce swelling and bruising
Been told to take 30g pack for 1 week b4 and 1 week after.yiu can get them from boots or sainsburys behind the counter.x
Ahhh right, my nurse never mentioned them. When did u have your op? What did u have? Xxx

Hi Hun, I also took a pillow for the journey home so the seat belt didn’t hurt x
Yeh I was thinking to maybe take a pillow. Did you find it uncomfortable in the car going back home? I live in newcastle so it’s about 2 and a half hours away in the car xx
Nope not at all and I came home 4 hours after my op! I took it just incase we had to sudden break or anything like that. I have been driving with a pillow too cos I’m paranoid lol!! X
