Ive heard from here that some surgeons ask for pre op bloods from gp and some don’t ….does Mr Traynor ask for pre op bloods and how soon before op have you to get them done ?
I had blood taken as its procedure if you are under 19 BMI, they need to check there’s no underlying issue. It depends on the person not surgeon. The nurse took mine at my pre op on the Wednesday and I had my op 6 days later x
Ha ha me too, I was more bothered about the needle in the back of my hand! To be honest the bloods were sprung on me, I wasn’t expecting to have them so didn’t have chance to get scared about it. You’ll be fine, I’m a right big baby when it comes to needles etc x
