It will be swelling, swelling in the nose can take up to a year to heal after rhinoplasty especially if it was open surgery
3 months is too early to determine what the final result will be I am 5 months post op and my tip is still a little bulbous too! It definitely improves over time but we just have to be patient! Try to take lots of pictures over the months and then you can compare them and see differences over time! Hope this helps x

I am 6 weeks post-op and still incredibly swollen. It is really fustrating but it takes a year for the swelling to go down (longer if you are black like me). Tip swelling is always the worst as the skin tends to be much thicker there. But it will so be worth it in the end. I am having a steroid shot in my tip in September, that is supposed to accelerate the process.
