So I’m 5 weeks PO today and my left boob still hasn’t dropped and settled like my right has! I saw my surgeon last week and he said its perfectly normal for them to drop at different rates but I’m soooooo impatient. Was hoping to get measured again and go bra shopping next week but my mum says there’s no point until they’re both settled coz my size might change.
Did anyone else have to wait a while for them to even out? X

Im 8 weeks post op on Friday and my right hasnt dropped and looks a completely different shape and size. I’m seeing surgeon on the 16th, i will be gutted if something has gone wrong. I’ve still not been to get measured as i know the right is at least a cup size bigger : ( Are your scars in the creases? x

Aww, have you seen a nurse to hear their opinion? I had the post op with my surgeon at 4 weeks because I was worried but he says its normal. At the moment my right scars are fully in the crease and my left almost covers them, but its a lot fuller at the top and side and doesn’t have as good cleavage as my right, sorta looks as if it goes to the side?! I’m gonna upload a pic now so please have a look and let me know what you think xoxo

Hi Girls 🙂

It can take at least 6 months for them to drop and settle properly. Everyone is different and each boob needs to be treated differently! Try not to panic! if still at that point nothings changed then i would recommended seeing your surgeon for advice. IF your worried you can always contact the MYA nurses for some guidance xx

I went to see the nurse at 6 weeks and she was the one who said i need to see my surgeon, and the sooner the better but i cant get in my local clinic till then. My scar on the right is so much lower, nowhere near my boob, I cant upload any pics till friday as i’ve lost my iphone : ( !
I will have a look hun, at least your only 4 weeks so plenty of time still to change, did you have overs or unders?x

I think they look fab and both a nice shape, the left only needs to drop a little more. Give it time hun and will be perfect, they are a lovely size.
Im desperate to get a pic up to show how different mine have become, might steal hubbys phone later! x

Hey bbe, just had a look. To me it looks like its not dropped or settled at all compared to your left. Someone on here said that they’re possibly having a reop to release the muscle or they’ll have to remove and have overs instead!? How long til you see your surgeon? xoxo

A week on Monday, so still a while yet : (
I start a new job next week and can’t be asking for time off for a re op, that’s the whole reason I had them done early summer.

Aw hunni 🙁
I know its such a pain waiting but try not to worry too much. People do say unders can take ages to settle properly, its just annoying when one lags behind the other. The surgeons know their stuff though so try not to panic to much until you’ve seen him. With any luck it’ll straighten itself out in the meantime xoxo
