    the question i completely didn’t.think to ask… having read some other internet forums it.stays no sex for two weeks because of the healing and something to do.with.the heart rate? is this true? im finally seeing my partner tomorrow and was wondering if even slow steady sex would be aloud? obviously no pressure on my breasts etc? anyone? with this being said what about oral etc? as technically.this still increases heart.rate ?

    To be honest my nurse said 6 weeks but think we lasted 1 week lol! There are loads of girls on here that had sex earlier on x

    I’d say defo wait the 6 weeks … I didn’t and had it a few times before the 6 weeks and I can honestly say its not worth it even slow steady sex or oral as your heart rate still rises and the pain ouch x

    I didn’t even know that we had to wait. I stayed with my sister for first week so obvs no sex but have done since I came home. I’ve not had any issues, I wasn’t hanging of the light fittings or anything but can’t see if you don’t go too mad that there would be a problem…6 weeks surely that’s a bit over the top!?!

    Glad i finally got some answers but still.totally undecided as to whether o wait or not. I’ve not had any pain since surgery and equally dont want to tempt it and.hurt myself but at the same time im.thinking surely slow.sex can’t hurt? Dilemma!! 6weeks is seriously a long time to wait though wish i.had asked my pc !

    Hey Hun I read posts a few months ago there was a huge discussion on it!! Some of the ladies were days po and had sex I don’t think there is a 6 week waiting thing I think the advice is to be careful if you have stopped taking the pill/ contraception because obv you won’t be protected! I’ll be honest I waited 4 weeks!!! But my incision under my left boob was still stinging because it was still bleeding for one week after surgery and I didn’t want to chance getting sweaty and it getting infected etc I’d go with how your body feels and maybe just say to your partner pre hand (as sexy as that would be) if it starts to hurt we stop!!     I think I waited days… And I had no pain.. Everyone’s different I guess, maybe try it slowly and see if you feel uncomfortable then stop. I wasn’t told anything about no sex, just that I needed to come off the pill x

    Thanks for all your help. My partner has already said he doesn’t want to.hurt me i think he thinks they will explode! Men!! I reckon ill just see how it feels i mean i feel fine the only limitations i have is that im not very agile i guess we can just see. Never even though about sweat and infection! I love these posts so helpful! Thanks again guys.

    They say because its a form f exercise, it raises your heart rate, blood pressure all the rest to wait six weeks! But i think providing your bra stays on to keep your boobs correctly supported, its nothing too rough or vigourous you’ll be fine xx

    So i managed to.have very comfortable sex, had lots of pillows behind me and made sure my partner didn’t press on me or get to.carried away. It doesn’t sound great fun but it was actually a nice change. I didnt work up a sweat and everytime my heart.rate went up we eased off a bit and i feel perfectly fine! Will see what the nurse now says on Tuesday! Yay xx

    Im still giggling like a school girl over the expoloding boobs! but this is such a good issue that was never discussed by the hospital, I waited 5 days , kept my bra on and without being too graphic went on top as I was so scared of him catching my boobs accidently. ( I think he was equally scared that he would hurt me)
    I didnt notice any discomfort during or afterwards though but i think i might try the pillow thing just for a change. LOL! its that or buy him a blow up doll !

    Ha no idea what goes through mens minds sometime. I agree i think the pc should always mention it simply because it is the last thing you.think of!

    I feel fine today can’t say its done any damage. I was apprehensive towards.going on top because i didn’t want them to.be jiggling around. I also kept my bra on i dont think.the.bandages would have.been much.of a turn on. Will be interesting to see what.the nurse says tomorrow. Xx
